About

I'm Anna. 23, living in Raleigh. I love anything involving my family, my boyfriend, and my dog. I love great books, great music, and bare feet. I have a love/hate relationship with chocolate, money, and my bathroom scale. I look forward to traveling the world. I am ravenous for knowledge, information, and words. I was a dedicated English major in college, so reading is my sustenance, and writing is a fickle and sometimes complicated outlet for me, but here on this little blog, I try to wrap my thoughts into something tangible.

Pet Peeve #245

When my clothes smell like food.  Does anyone else hate this? Mexican restaurants seem to be the biggest culprits.  Sure, that chicken fajita quesadilla sounded like such a good idea for lunch, but now I have to spend the rest of my day sitting at my desk smelling like a Los Portales Grande lunch platter.  Fresh from the fryer, just like the tortilla chips and chimichangas.  This also happens in the cafe at work.  Even when I’m just scurrying down for a quick salad, once I pass by the flat top that is cooking up chicken breasts, philly cheese steaks, and cheeseburgers, I’m doomed to smell like grease for the rest of the day.  I hate it!  I don’t care if I just laundered my clothing, or paid $30 to have it dry cleaned.  If it smells like food even in the slightest, I may has well have mud-wrestled in it.  Back to the dry cleaners!
